Phase Control Thyristor T123-100 JY FACTORY is general purpose disc thyristor, also known as Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR). This is a power thyristor designed for converting and control DC and AC currents up to 100A with frequency up to 500Hz in circuits with voltages up to 5000V – 6000V (voltage class from 50 to 60). Thyristor dimensions ØDxØdxH – 42x19x26 mm (outer case diameter X contact surface diameter X case height), weight – 100 g. Thyristor ratings: T123-100-50 (100A 5000V), T123-100-52 (100A 5200V), T123-100-54 (100A 5400V), T123-100-56 (100A 5600V), T123-100-58 (100A 5800V), T123-100-60 (100A 6000V).
The anode and cathode of the thyristor (polarity) are determined by the symbol on the case. Thyristors are in a press pack disc (capsule, tablet) housing. This SCR thyristor can be an alternative product, replacement, analog, equivalent for other types thyristors 90A, 100 amp in a disk package. For cooling during the operation of power thyristors they are mounted with coolers (heat sinks).
Depending on the amount of heat generated and the working conditions of the semiconductors, either natural air flow cooling or forced cooling can be used. When assembling, the necessary clamping force Fm specific for each type of thyristor case (indicated in the parameter table) must be provided. Thyristors SCR disc type are used in power equipment – power and control units, power regulators, converters (e.g. melting furnaces), controllers where fast switching and control of currents is necessary.
